Date: Jun 29, 2026 Day: Monday
After completing the NEET UG 2026 Re-Examination Answer Key Challenge Process, the National Testing Agency (NTA) moved towards the next stage of evaluation — reviewing objections submitted by candidates and preparing the Final Answer Key.
The provisional answer key for the NEET UG 2026 Re-Examination was released after the examination conducted on 21 June 2026. Candidates were provided an opportunity to check their recorded responses and raise objections against answers they found incorrect. The objection window remained open until 28 June 2026, after which NTA started the expert review process.
The final answer key will play an important role in calculating candidates' scores and preparing the NEET UG 2026 Re-Examination results.
After the closure of the answer key challenge window, NTA began examining the objections submitted by candidates.
Each challenged question is reviewed by subject experts who analyze:
The accuracy of the provisional answer.
Supporting references provided by candidates.
Standard textbooks and academic sources.
Validity of the raised objections.
If any objection is found valid, necessary corrections will be made before releasing the final answer key.
The Final Answer Key is considered the official version of answers used for result calculation.
It helps NTA in:
Calculating candidates' final marks.
Preparing scorecards.
Maintaining accuracy in evaluation.
Ensuring fairness for all candidates.
The result will be prepared only after completing the objection review process and finalizing the answer key.
NTA follows a structured process to maintain transparency in competitive examinations.
The NEET UG 2026 evaluation process includes:
Conducting the examination.
Releasing the provisional answer key.
