Date: Jun 17, 2026 Day: Wednesday
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has urged candidates appearing for the NEET UG 2026 Re-Examination to carefully verify all the details mentioned on their admit cards after downloading them from the official website. The advisory has been issued to help candidates avoid any last-minute issues before the examination scheduled for 21 June 2026.
According to NTA, every candidate should thoroughly review the information printed on the admit card immediately after downloading it. In case of any discrepancy, candidates are advised to contact the NTA helpdesk without delay to ensure that the issue is resolved before the examination date.
NTA has requested candidates to check the following information carefully:
Ensuring that all information is accurate will help candidates avoid inconvenience on the examination day.
If any incorrect information is found on the admit card, candidates should immediately contact the National Testing Agency through the official support channels. Waiting until the examination day may create unnecessary complications and could affect entry into the examination centre.
Candidates should not make any changes to the admit card themselves or rely on unofficial sources for corrections.
NTA has reminded all candidates that carrying a printed copy of the official admit card is compulsory for entry into the examination hall. Along with the admit card, candidates must also carry a valid government-issued photo identity proof as specified in the official guidelines.
Without these mandatory documents, candidates will not be allowed to appear for the examination.
Candidates are advised to carefully read every instruction printed on the admit card before the examination. These instructions include reporting time, dress code, prohibited items, and examination-day procedures.
NTA has also advised students to rely only on official notifications available on the official website and avoid misinformation shared through unofficial social media platforms.
With the examination approaching, candidates should ensure that all required documents are ready well in advance. Planning travel to the examination centre, reaching before the reporting time, and carrying only the permitted items will help ensure a smooth examination experience.
Students are also encouraged to continue revising important topics, practice mock tests, and maintain a healthy routine to remain confident before the examination.
The National Testing Agency's advisory to verify admit card details is an important reminder for candidates to complete all formalities before the examination day. Careful verification of personal and examination details can help prevent unnecessary difficulties and ensure a hassle-free experience during the NEET UG 2026 Re-Examination.
